Dancetown
Working with Touchtown, a company creating software applications for retirement communties, we designed an exercise game for the elderly. The game is a dance game similar to DDR with specific adaptations in music, speed, levels, and visual intent catering to an older demographic. The game is currently being incorporated into exercise programs at various retirement communities. Humana Games for Health Research
Change of Heart
This is a two player board game where players compete to eliminate the other player from their "heart." The leader in the game can shift quickly, and combined with playful relationship cards, makes for a symbolic love game appropriate for Valentines Day.
Extra Healthy Terrestrial
We are designing a mobile game to teach pre-teen girls the basics of healthy eating. In our game, the player scans barcodes of food, which is then sent to their adopted alien character. Based on the nutritional value of the food, the alien's activity in the world will change. The player can move their alien character around a 2D tile-based cell phone world in order to document alien life. Visit the Extra Healthy Terrestrial website
Atlantic City Interactive Fountain
We designed the first fully interactive fountain. A passerby would be surprised to find the fountain following them, or perhaps beckoning them to dance. With the turn of a hat, the fountain changes its mind and decides it doesn't want to play. We designed games for a matrix-style fountain that would cover different scenerios, such as individuals, small groups, and crowds. We also wanted the fountain to emit personality and react similarly to a child at play. The fountain is now installed at The Pier at Caesar's in Atlantic City, Maryland. Jamostrum
We made a polished tabletop 4 player music game based on the previous semester team's prototype. The final game has network capability, allowing multiple 4-player tables to compete for the highest score. Each player hits notes for a separate instrument so that their combined efforts play the full song. This networked "orchestra" was slated to be installed at the World's Fair for Kids and would be Orchestrated by a virtual Quasi. Though we completed the project, we never installed it due to the fair being cancelled.

Peace Games: Darfur
MTVU held a competition for students to submit a game that aims to teach the public about the crisis occurring in Sudan. Our game was one of 4 finalists. Our game consisted of a series of mini-games that would demonstrate various aspects of bringing peace, either in the country of crisis, or in first-world countries. The mini-game we submitted demonstrated the difficulties the UN has in assisting both sides of the crisis.
Neon Nibblers
A polished 4-player tabletop game developed with a 4-person team in 2 weeks. The key to this project's success was extensive guest-testing, teamwork and lots of iteration. A video of the game

This poster was displayed at the Entertainment Technology Center for the duration of the project's development. Game Innovation Database
Game Innovation Logo
I designed this logo for the Game Innovation Database. The developers decided to go with the previous logo, which I assisted to create a high res version for the new interface. Game Innovation Database
